Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).

Wella's Hairdressers at Heart and the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation announced the winners of the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program 'Basic' and 'Advanced' competitions on May 28. The 10 'Basic' and 10 'Advanced' winners were selected from hundreds of applicants who competed in the national competition funded by Wella's Hairdressers at Heart and administered by the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.

Ten aspiring hairstylists as well as 10 licensed beauty professionals have been awarded the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship by the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, continuing a commitment by Wella, the salon professional division of P&G, to fund 200 scholarships between 2013 and 2017. The $1.5 million scholarship grant established by Wella's Hairdressers at HeartTM program and administered by the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, honors the legacy of the late Vidal Sassoon and his belief in continual learning throughout the professional hairstylist's career.

The Beauty Changes Lives foundation is accepting applications for the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program between August 5 and October 11, 2013, at www.beautychangeslives.org/scholarships. Honoring the late Vidal Sassoon and his legacy as an entrepreneur and artist, the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program funds 50 percent of tuition at qualified cosmetology schools, which can be found at http://beautycareerlink.beautyschools.org/; and for licensed professionals, the scholarship covers the cost of a 5-day course at any North America-based Sassoon Academy, plus travel expenses (up to a total of $5,000, including course fee).
