Casting for Musical Theatre West's (MTW) production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's international hit musical Sunset Boulevard , has been announced by MTW Executive Director/Producer Paul Garman and Director Larry Raben. The 1950 Oscar-winning motion picture of the same title first starred screen legends Gloria Swanson (as Norma Desmond) and William Holden (as Joe Gillis) before it opened as a musical in London's West End starring Patti LuPone and Kevin Anderson at the Adelphi Theatre July 12, 1993 where it ultimately ran for 1529 performances.

The event will also feature live and silent auctions of items including two 'The Phantom of the Opera' masks and Playbills signed by the 25th anniversary Broadway cast, a BYU football signed by LaVell Edwards and a mini BYU blackout helmet signed by Chad Lewis and Robbie Bosco. All proceeds will provide funding for the arts in Saratoga Springs.

Singer, songwriter and activist Gavin Creel (HAIR; Thoroughly Modern Millie) will step back onto theJoe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) stage for one-night-only, to celebrate the release of his brand new solo album Get Out on Monday, March 19. Creel will play a 7:00 PM and a 9:30 PM, both sold-out!
