Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Philadelphia Theatre Company closes its 2012-2013 season with Love, Loss and What I Wore on June 25-July 7 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. This intimate collection of stories by sisters Nora and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman. Like the popular book, the show uses clothing, accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories to which all women can relate. This production is presented by special arrangement with Daryl Roth.

ALEX NEWELL, one of the newest cast members of FOX's groundbreaking mega-hit series, 'Glee,' has been added to the cast of the 29th Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) 'Broadway, My Way,' being held on Saturday, April 6th at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. David Galligan directs for the 29th time with John McDaniel returning as Musical Director.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present an all-new revival of one of the greatest musicals of all time, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, lyrics, music and new songs by Johnny Mercer, Gene De Paul, Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn, based on the MGM Film 'The Sobbin' Women' by Stephen Vincent Benet, originally directed for Broadway by Lawrence Kasha and originally produced on Broadway by Kaslan Productions, Inc., SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS will feature musical direction by Dennis Castellano, choreography by Patti Colombo and will be directed by Glenn Casale.

Broadway Arts Factory presents Broadway leading lady Sierra Boggess in Lessons in Love on Sunday, April 21st, 2013. Lessons in Love is a very special evening in which Sierra Boggess shares her love of life, the theatre, and some very special people who influenced and changed her life forever. Realizing that the answers are within, this journey reveals inspirational moments, from humble beginnings to the bright lights of Broadway. A silent auction & cocktail reception will be held at 6pm, while the performance begins at 7:30pm at The Riverside Church (91 Claremont Avenue New York NY 10027). Tickets are $65 and $95.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced that single tickets are now on sale for the 2013 Playhouse Productions summer season. The world premiere of a new play by four time Tony Award -winning playwright Terrence McNally has been added to the list of previously announced shows. It will star Tony and Emmy Award- winner Tyne Daly. The balance of the season is made up of acclaimed musicals and plays and a production specifically for families. The summer season kicks off on Thursday, May 23rd at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street, New Hope, PA).

Stacy Sullivan's 'A Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee,' is a journey through the musical legacy of Peggy Lee, beginning with her rise from a tragic childhood on the desolate plains of North Dakota to becoming one of the first and most successful female singer/songwriters in history.

Superman finds his Lois Lane! Joining Edward Watts (Superman) in the New York City Center Encores! production of It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman will be Jenny Powers as Lois Lane and David Pittu as the evil Dr. Sedgwick, along with Erich Bergen, Alli Mauzey, James Saito and Will Swenson. Superman will play at City Center for seven performances, tonight, March 20 - 24, and will be directed by John Rando with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Rob Berman.

Gerard Alessandrini's, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING, which received unanimous raves from critics and audiences alike, broke all box-office records at the 47th Street Theatre, and won spots on the Top Ten Lists of Time Magazine and the Associated Press, will wind up its current edition at the 47th Street Theatre on Sunday, April 28, in order to make room for The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre's own season, as required by the show's lease agreement with the theatre. In a statement, Mr. Alessandrini said, "We knew from the start that the theatre could only be ours until the end of April. Although we hate to leave town when we're a hit, I actually think this is a perfect time for us to wind up "Alive and Kicking", which has been a thrilling return to New York for us, to take a brief break; and to begin plans to return with another edition later this year." The show, which has recently added extended parodies of Cinderella and the movie version of Les Miz, is also a Critic's Pick for The New York Times, The Daily News and New York Magazine. Julie Halston attacked the Birdland stage with an animalistic energy that caught even the most fanatical of her admirers off-guard. Pierrot Productions will entertain audiences with the classic musical fable about the road to stardom with 'Gypsy,' coming to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Dates and times are Fridays, March 15 and 22 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, March 16 and 23 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, March 17 and 24 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 15.

Actress Tyne Daly returns to the George Street Playhouse stage for a one-night-only event tonight, February 25. The event, first in a planned series of 'Conversations with...' will feature the award-winning actress in a one-on-one conversation with GSP Artistic Director David Saint. In addition to conversing with Mr. Saint, Ms. Daly will also take questions from the audience as well. All proceeds of the event will go toward the support of George Street Playhouse's mainstage and educational programming.
