On Friday, June 20th, the brightest stars of televisions below the line talent in Daytime gathered at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles to honor their own at the 41st Daytime Creative Arts EMMY Awards. Although many of the individuals associated with nominated projects may not have been household names, there were many recognizable personalities such as Ron Howard, George Lucas, Leeza Gibbons, Jack Hanna and even Cookie Monster (David Rudman). On hand to disperse awards to over 50 categories were such noted performers as Melody Thomas Scott, George Chakiris, Ashley Tisdale, Lauralee Bell and June Lockhart, who has started her 81st year as a paid actress that included her role of Maria Ramirez on General Hospital for many years. Last night, June 20, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a sold-out, grand gala for over 1,200 attendees at the Westin Bonaventure, in downtown Los Angeles. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is hosting a summer fling for soap fans as the network has acquired the first 40 episodes of The OnLine Network's reprisal of the popular daytime dramas 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' for a special exclusive 10-week limited engagement.

New York Casting Director Bob Cline is back in New Jersey as he often is directing a show for a theater company. This time, it is at M.O.C. Musicals doing the amazing show 'In The Heights'. We caught up with Bob during tech week to talk about the show.

Prospect Park's The Online Network has announced premiere dates for revived soap operas ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Both shows will make their debut on Monday April 29th and will air 30 minute episodes on Hulu and iTunes according to Deadline.

The Online Network previously announced that production will commence on the highly-anticipated revivals of the beloved long-running serial dramas 'All My Children,' and 'One Life to Live,' beginning today, February 25. Principal production for both series will take place in Stamford, Connecticut with new episodes of 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Life' set to debut later this spring.

In the case of All My Children, it appears that some key cast members are currently no-shows including fan favorite Susan Lucci, who has been a fixture on the show since its debut in 1970.
