Swarovski, the world leader in cut crystal and fashion jewelry, is delighted that the celebrated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show-this year held in London for the first time-was a spectacular success. The glittering invitation-only event marked the twelfth year of the inspirational partnership between Victoria's Secret and Swarovski, and took place at Earl's Court Exhibition Centre on December 2, 2014.
Tony Torn to Join Cast of Untitled Theater Company #61's THE VELVET ORATORIO

Tony Torn (Karen Coonrad's The Tempest, Jay Scheib's The Disinherited, Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway) joins the cast of The Velvet Oratorio, an original opera/theater piece commemorating the 25th anniversary of The Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia. The show will be presented in the grand ballroom at the current home of the Czech Center and the Czech Consulate: The Bohemian National Hall. The Velvet Oratorio is an evocative retelling of the Velvet Revolution through found text, choral music, and scenes inspired by Vaclav Havel's Van?k plays. Torn will be playing a secret service officer who interrogates Van?k but later disclaims his Communist past.

Over the course of their 2014 season, Theatre at the Center, a major equity player on the Chicago theater scene, has introduced audiences to never-before-seen productions on Chicagoland stages. To round out their current season, they will be making no exception, and are thrilled to present the regional debut of the musical adaptation of Truman Capote's A CHRISTMAS MEMORY, November 13 through December 14, with a press opening on Sunday, November 16 at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster. Directed by William Pullinsi, A CHRISTMAS MEMORY is a labor of love for its Broadway veteran team, written by Duane Poole, with music by Larry Grossman and lyrics by Carol Hall. Based on Capote's touching memoir of his own childhood, this wistful Southern Christmas tale is a tender portrait of a rare friendship across generations with a joyous score that will bring love and light to everyone's hearts this holiday season. Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory is the tender recollection of a short and innocent period in the life of the seven year old narrator and his older distant cousin and best friend in 1930s America. As Christmas approaches they embark on a ritual involving friendship, cake, country life and the joy of giving. A ritual soon to be lived only in memory.
