Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company announce the departure of Executive Director Jennifer Dwyer McEwen after more than nine years with the company. McEwen submitted her resignation in May after accepting a new role with the Town of Hilton Head as its new Culture and Arts Network Director.

Berkshire Theatre Group announces the final production of its upcoming 2017 Summer Season will be Mark Medoff's Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-winning play, Children of a Lesser God, which began performances on Thursday, June 22 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage. Opening night is set for tonight, June 24 at 8pm.

Samuel French has announced a new monologue publication in partnership with the August Wilson Estate: DANGEROUS MUSIC: THE AMERICAN CENTURY CYCLE MONOLOGUES. The monologue compilation book was announced last night at the annual August Wilson Monologue Competition, which is produced by True Colors Theatre Company and Jujamcyn Theaters. Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce their 2017-2018 15th anniversary season of 'Truth & Clarity.' The season of award winning plays and Atlanta premieres, opens in September 2017 with the Regional Premiere of the Broadway musical, Holler If Ya Hear Me featuring music by Tupac Shakur, written by Todd Kriedler, and directed by Kenny Leon. In February 2018, True Colors will produce the Tony Award winning drama King Hedley II by August Wilson directed by Jamil Jude. The season will close in July with the Southeastern premiere of the critically acclaimed play Dot by Colman Domingo, directed by Kenny Leon.
