According to the Chicago Tribune, American Idol finalist Syesha Mercado has joined the cast of The Book of Mormon in Chicago and will be playing the featured role of 'Nabulungi'. Stephanie Umoh previously played the role. No details have been released on why she left.

The producers of the national tour of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh announce that single tickets will go on sale December 14, 2012 at 9 AM for the Pittsburgh engagement. Tickets begin at $36 and will be available at the Box Office at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, by visiting www.TrustArts.org, or by calling (412) 456-4800.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a day-of-show drawing for the Second National Tour, which launches in Chicago on December 11, 2012 at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). In Chicago, the production will conduct a pre-show drawing at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 each. Performances are sold out December 11, 2012 - March 3, 2013. Tickets are still available for performances March 5 - June 2, 2013.

Beginning Thursday, December 6, MTV's college network will profile the "Man and Woman of the Year" to millions of young people on college campuses around the country on-air and online.

In Seattle, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making 20 tickets available at $25 apiece.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins November 27 at the SHN Curran Theatre in San Francisco and plays a limited 5 week engagement through December 30. In San Francisco, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number tickets available at $29 apiece.

Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner will play Elder Price and Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon, which previews at the Prince of Wales Theatre from 25 February 2013. They are currently leading the company in the Los Angeles production, which has broken all box office records at the Pantages Theatre.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Broadway favorite Matt Doyle will join the cast of Broadway's the Book of Mormon as 'Elder Price.' Doyle replaces Nic Rouleau, who on December 11 will leave to star in the second national tour, launching in Chicago.
