The producers of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL have announced that Josh Tower (The Lion King, original cast of Ragtime) will assume the role of "Berry Gordy" beginning Tuesday, June 17 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director presents Nicholas Nickleby, A New Musical based on the classic Charles Dickens novel with book by Robert Sickinger, music and lyrics by Alaric Jans. She will be joined by Broadway performers Ben Platt (Book of Mormon), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal) and many more as they present material from new musicals by up-and-coming composers. Nic Rouleau, currently starring in The Book of Mormon on Broadway, and Donna Vivino, who played Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked, will sing songs from brand new musicals in the Cutting-Edge Composers concert at 54 Below on 2/17 at 9:30pm.

On February 17th at 9:30pm, Cutting-Edge Composers will present their fifth concert at 54 Below! Committed to showcasing up-and-coming musical theatre writers by providing them with concert venues, Broadway performers and musicians, Cutting-Edge Composers has an exclusive video spotlight on Broadwayworld.com. The concert, directed and produced by Laura Pietropinto, with Musical Direction by Julie McBride and Benjamin Rauhala, will feature songs from new musicals in the works.

This tantalizing theatrical experience is a collaborative effort of many of New York's most talented performer's and artists that includes the all new RNRD show: 'NIGHTMARES', as well as a best costume contest and NYC's most 'thrilling' Halloween Party at the world famous rock venue. The show is set for tonight, October 26, 2013 at 10 p.m.

According to a Tweet by Frankie Grande, he and Liz Gillies are set to star in JAWBREAKER when the show comes to Broadway.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

This exciting evening of magic, music and performance will be a collaborative effort of some of New York's most talented performer's that includes an interactive pre-show with performances by MIX'T DANCE, a concert benefiting the organization and Michele Mais (Rock of Ages) with the Rock of Ages Band: ARSENAL, and an post-performance concert by The Annie Minogue Band, (National Artist of the year by LA Music Awards).
