Summer heats up when ABC heads to Nashville to take you to the hottest music event of the year - 'CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock.' Filming Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13, today's most exciting Country Music stars will hit the stage during a four-day party and celebration of America's music for a special that will air WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Last night, during one of the year's most watched live television events, a star-studded panel of judges chose Miss Michigan USA, Rima Fakih, as Miss USA 2010. Internationally-renowned chef and current 'Celebrity Apprentice' contestant Curtis Stone and 'Today' show co-host and correspondent Natalie Morales hosted the 59th Annual Miss USA Pageant from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in one of the world's most electrifying cities, Las Vegas. The comedic mother-daughter duo Joan and Melissa Rivers were on hand providing backstage color commentary.

Shugart, President of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), announced today that Curtis Stone, internationally-renowned chef and current 'Celebrity Apprentice' contestant and 'Today' show co-host and correspondent Natalie Morales, will host NBC's '2010 Miss USA(R) Pageant.' The 59th-annual competition will be broadcast live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 16 (7-9 p.m. ET). The telecast will feature performances by multi-platinum country music superstar Trace Adkins and pop rock band Boys Like Girls (BLG), as well as color commentary by Joan and Melissa Rivers.

This morning, Laura Bell Bundy and CMT's Evan Farmer announced the nominees for the 2010 CMT Awards, and Broadway-turned-country star got a very welcomed surprise - she herself earned a nomination for Best Breakthrough Video of the Year for 'Giddy on Up,' the first single off of her newest album, Achin' and Shakin.' Voting begins today for the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, country music's only fan-voted award show, with the announcement of this year's first round finalists. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland lead the pack in first round nominations with four each, followed by Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band, who each garnered three.

Laura Bell Bundy's major label debut album Achin' And Shakin' is slated for release April 13 on Mercury Nashville. The infectious lead single 'Giddy On Up' has been described as 'a breath of fresh air' and 'nothing short of a new female anthem' amongst industry critics since the premiere of the music video on January 18. 'Giddy On Up' has received almost 1 million streams in a month and has sold over 30,000 digital singles. Now, reports People.com, Laura Bell Bundy will be performing the single at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas on April 18. This will mark the first live broadcast of the single performed by Bundy.
