Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, will begin previews tomorrow night, February 14 and open on March 8 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). The production runs through June 28, 2015.

On Thursday 29 August 2013 the Melbourne Theatre Company presented the World Premiere of Rupert, David Williamson's take on the greatest media mogul of all time, which enjoyed a sell-out season and critical acclaim. The production then had its USA premiere at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, where it received standing ovations.

Rupert is heading to Sydney for an exclusive premiere season at Sydney's Theatre Royal opening on Saturday 29 November 2014 for a strictly limited three week season. This Sydney season precedes a transfer to London's West End in 2015.

Kristin Scott Thomas will play the Queen in a new version of Peter Morgan's The Audience. Stephen Daldry's production will preview at the Apollo Theatre from 21 April 2015, with press night on 5 May 2015 and is booking to 25 July 2015. Tickets are released for sale today (31 October 2014). The Audience has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby. Further casting to be announced.
