Broadway veteran James Moye will headline 'The Songbook Series,' directed by John Znidarsic, Monday, May 24th at 6pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. The concert, free to the general public, celebrates the work of up and coming composer and lyricist Tommy Newman.

On May 13 Dan Le Franc was awarded the 2010 New York Times Outstanding Playwright Away for isplay SIXTY MILES TO SILVER LAKE. During the ceremony Arthur Sulzberger, Jr, publisher of the New York Times presented Le Franc the award and a check for $5,000.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced two additional productions as part of the 2010-2011 theatrical season. Cherry Jones will be starring in George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession, directed by Doug Hughes. Olympia Dukakis will star in Tennessee Williams' The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore, directed by Michael Wilson.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the fourth and final time this season to decide the eligibility of thirteen Broadway productions for the 2010 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing. The thirteen productions discussed included: Come Fly Away; Red; Lend Me a Tenor; The Addams Family; Million Dollar Quartet; La Cage Aux Folles; American Idiot; Sondheim on Sondheim; Promises, Promises; Fences; Enron; Collected Stories and Everyday Rapture.
