Mary-Louise Parker, star of Manhattan Theatre Club and MCC Theater's world premiere of Sharr White's THE SNOW GEESE, will appear on Fox 5's "Good Day New York," as a live guest on Monday, September 16 at approximately 9:30AM. Locally, the program can be found from 7-10AM on Fox 5. This strictly limited 11 week engagement will begin performances Tuesday, October 1, in preparation for aThursday, October 24 opening at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

The producers of ANNIE announced this evening that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Upon closing, the production, which opened on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), will have played 487 performances and 38 previews.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, launches its 2013-2014 Season with Paul Osborn's On Borrowed Time, directed by Tony and Academy Award-winner Joel Grey. Performances will begin in Two River's Rechnitz Theater (21 Bridge Avenue) on Saturday, September 14 and continue through Sunday, October 13. The opening night performance is Friday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m..

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Jenni Barber, who most recently starred in THE NANCE on Broadway will take on 'Grace Farrell' in ANNIE beginning August 20. Brynn O'Malley, who currently plays the role, will temporarily depart to star in HONEYMOON IN VEGAS at Paper Mill Playouse. She will return to the production on November 5.

Harold Pinter's NO MAN'S LAND starring Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley, directed by Sean Mathias, opens this Sunday, August 11 at 7pm at Berkeley Rep. This brief engagement will play through August 31.

The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical have announced that original cast members will return to star in the production when it arrives at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for its December 11 – 29, 2013 engagement. Reprising their roles will be Dan Lauria(Lombardi, “The Wonder Years,” “Sullivan and Son”) as Jean Shepherd, John Bolton (Spamalot, Contact, Titanic, “Boardwalk Empire,” “Gossip Girl') as the Old Man, Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother, Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields, and talented newcomer to the production Jake Lucas (Newsies, Far From Heaven), donning the famous spectacles as he takes on the lead role of Ralphie.

Manhattan Theatre Club's critically acclaimed production of THE EXPLORERS CLUB, the world premiere comedy by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin, directed by Marc Bruni, begins its final two weeks of performances tonight at 7 PM at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Tony Award-winner Faith Prince will return to Broadway as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). She will begin performances tonight, July 19. Emmy Award-winning 'Glee' star Jane Lynch will play her final performance as Miss Hannigan on Sunday, July 14.

I was a freshman at Sam Houston State University when I first read Gregory Maguire's riveting and racy novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. That same year, on October 30, 2003 WICKED opened on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre. I was first bewitched by WICKED when the Original Broadway Cast Album was released on December 16, 2003. In October 2005, I saw the miraculous show for the first time when the First National Tour landed in Houston. Now, WICKED is retuning to Houston for the fourth time and the musical's Broadway production will turn 10 years old this year. It is currently the 12th Longest Running Show in Broadway history. WICKED, with its multiple productions all over the world, is a musical phenomenon that enchants audiences everywhere it goes.

Beginning June 28, ANNIE will play an additional matinee on Friday afternoons on Broadway at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at 47th Street) - rather than an evening show on Wednesday, it was announced today.
