Shakespeare IN THE RAW is about to return to Schroon Lake! The Adirondack Shakespeare Company (ADK Shakes) is back for their third annual Summer Festival Season and prepared to present some of the finest comedy and tragedy that the Bard has to offer.

Silver Spring Stage presents Stop Kiss by Diana Son, directed by Chris Curtis and produced by Lennie Magida, a striking, provocative and powerful story of two women whose first kiss prompts a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate. Stop Kiss will perform weekends June 29 to July 21.

A celebration of the life of Tony Award-winning producer and noted director Burry Fredrik (1925-2012) will be hosted by Westport Country Playhouse on Sunday, July 1, 3 p.m. The tribute will be in the campus' Lucille Lortel White Barn Center's Sheffer Rehearsal Studio, 25 Powers Court, Westport, CT. A reception will follow. Fredrik died in her Weston, Connecticut home on May 22 caused by complications from a stroke she suffered over two years ago.

According to the Daily Mail, director Matthew Warchus has left the in-the-works West End adaptation of the Oscar-winning film Shakespeare in Love. The production now begins the search for a new director.

Apollinaire Theatre Company presents Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard, at Theatre in the Park in English and Spanish, July 11-28, Wed.-Sun. at 7:30 Mary O'Malley Park, Commandant's Way, on the Chelsea Waterfront (Admiral's Hill).

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for the American Premiere of Nick Payne's If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet, directed by Michael Longhurst. If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet will feature Michelle Gomez as "Fiona," Jake Gyllenhaal as "Terry" and Brian F. O'Byrne as "George."

The Etiquette of Death, the final show of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season, runs now through July 1, 2012 in a limited engagement at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. American Players Theatre (APT) announces its 2012 Season, which will run June 9 to October 21, 2012. The season will be especially exciting to Shakespeare lovers, with the return of three Shakespeare productions in APT's 1148-seat outdoor amphitheater Up the Hill, as well as Vern Thiessen's Shakespeare's Will, about William Shakespeare's enigmatic wife Anne Hathaway, in APT's 200-seat indoor Touchstone Theatre. Additionally, APT will present a new Shakespearience festival, featuring preeminent Shakespeare scholars and special events from August 24-26, 2012.

The Porters of Hellsgate present William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by Charles Pasterna, running tonight, June 15 through July 22 at The Whitmore Theatre in North Hollywood.

The artist, along with Town & Country Magazine, will celebrate the opening of the exhibit with a reception hosted by Shane Guffogg, Julian Sands, Jason Schwartzman, Nona Summers, Tara Summers, and Gloria Vanderbilt. Located at 8618 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, Calif., the exhibition will be open to the public today, June 13th through June 22nd, Weds-Fri 11am to 4pm and Sat 12-5pm and by appointment.

Sheridan Smith will star in the Old Vic's production of HEDDA GABLER by Henrik Ibsen, in a version by Brian Friel directed by Anna Mackmin. The show begins previews on the 5th of September and opens on the 12th for a run until the 10th of Novemeber.

Earlier this month, the 2012 Tony Awards Nominations were announced by Tony winning actress Kristin Chenoweth and Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Jim Parsons.
