This May, the Milwaukee Ballet stages Artistic Director Michael Pink's World Premiere full-length ballet Mirror, Mirror. With Pink's innovative genius and darker, dramatic perspective on the fairy tale Snow White, Pink enlisted Todd Edward Ivins for the ballet's costume and set design. The pair collaborated several years ago under Milwaukee Rep's Artistic Director Mark Clements for the theater company's sellout musical, Cabaret (2010), while Ivins and his designs were instrumental in the success of Ragtime (2013) and the contemporary vision seen on stage in Shakespeare's Othello (2012). The Rep's Quadracci Powerhouse became a familiar place in Milwaukee where the pair could contemplate their reinvention of a beloved fairy tale.

The Milwaukee Rep embarked on a new journey when Mark Clements presented a resplendent Ragtime to open the company's 60th anniversary season in September 2013. Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced casting today for How the World Began, their next production in the Stiemke Studio, and the 2011 Pulitzer Prize- winning Clybourne Park, their next production in the Quadracci Powerhouse.

The first gathering of Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Associate Artists happened on Friday, September 28, 2012 at The Rep's Administrative Offices. 18 of the 19 Artistic Associates either attended in person or attended via teleconference. The gathering was to discuss the future of The Rep as well as the responsibilities of this newly-formed group of theater professionals.

These are some of the most haunting lyrics in Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS, now in production in the Quadracci Powerhouse at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. These lyrics are sung by John Hinckley, Jr. with Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme in their duet of "Unworthy of Your Love".
