MCC THEATER announced today the all-star lineup of performers set for their annual Miscast gala, including: Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess; Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Linda Lavin; Tony Award nominee Keala Settle; and stage and screen stars Ana Gasteyer, Aaron Tveit, Beth Behrs, Megan Hilty, Cynthia Erivo, Ana Villafañe, and Shanice Williams.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) has named its winners for the 31st Annual Artios Awards, which took place tonight in both Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton and in New York City at The Hard Rock Cafe.

Broadway quadruple threat and Bistro Award winner, Robert Creighton, who recently starred as the title character in the critically lauded CAGNEY at the York Theatre Company, brings an all new show, 'Lucky In Love,' to Metropolitan Room on Monday, February 8 at 7pm. Creighton will sing a love and romance-themed repertoire in honor of the season, and you can expect to experience a spectrum from laughter to tears. Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, today announced premiere dates for several upcoming comedy series and kids series; the renewal of its acclaimed drama Marvel's Jessica Jones; and casting on the highly-anticipated series Black Mirror.

Netflix announced a Season 3 renewal order at Sunday's TCA. The announcement comes ahead of the April 15th Season Two premiere of the comedy from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

If you need us in the foreseeable future, we'll be in a comfy chair binge-watching Netflix.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Frank had several guests on hand to surprise Groff, including friends Tituss Burgess, Alyse Alan Louis, Jenni Barber, and his 'Looking' co-star Russell Tovey. This season will include tributes to Eartha Kitt (January 24 at 9:30 PM), the musical Cabaret (February 21 at 9:30 PM), Elton John (March 20 at 9:30 PM), Barbra Streisand (April 17 at 9:30 PM) and George Michael (May 22 at 7:00 PM). Special guests for each show will be announced.

Today in 2008, The Little Mermaid opened at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre, where it ran for 685 performances. The Little Mermaid is based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. The musical's book is by Doug Wright, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman (written for the film) and new lyrics by Glenn Slater. The musical had a pre-Broadway tryout in Denver, Colorado in July through early September 2007. The original cast featured Sierra Boggess in the title role of Ariel, Sean Palmer as Prince Eric, Brian D'Addario and Trevor Braun alternate as Flounder, Norm Lewis as King Triton, Sherie Rene Scott as Ursula, Tituss Burgess as Sebastian, Tyler Maynard as Flotsam, Derrick Baskin as Jetsam, Jonathan Freeman as Grimsby, and John Treacy Egan as Chef Louis.
