Broadway veterans Ivonne Coll (Tony-nominated Chronicle of Death Foretold), June Gable (Tony nominee for Candide), Leslie Easterbrook (original Broadway production of California Suite), and Barbara Niles (Jesus Christ Superstar) are four ladies of 'a certain age' in a sparkling new musical with book by Jennie Fahn and toe-tapping music and lyrics by Joe Symon that will end its run on April 4th.

Tippi Hedren, the quintessential Hitchcock heroine and star of the legendary director's The Birds and Marnie, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Humane Society of the United States' 24th Genesis Awards for dedicating more than 40 years to the protection of animals. Actress Melanie Griffith will present the prestigious honor to her mother at the gala event on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

A slew of celebrities are joining forces to demand that legendary actress Carol Channing be selected for the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors. Arguably the most recognizable of Alfred Hitchcock's famous blondes, Tippi Hedren, has had an active and enviable career for more than 60 years. On Jan 19th, 2010 the screen icon celebrated her 80th birthday with both public and private gatherings. Her daughter and son-in-law (Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas) threw an intimate gathering at their home for family and friends, while fans and colleagues gathered in the Palace of Mystery Theatre at the world famous Magic Castle for a Q&A as part of the very popular Legend Series with host B. Harlan Boll. The program unveiled details about the actress pertaining to her childhood, career and activism that many in the audience were surprised to hear.
