Drawing from all-too-familiar experience dreaded by many, choreographer and visual artist Laura Peterson examines the eponymous FAILURE  in the context of both personal and national experience of America, circa 2017. The new installation/performance, showing June 29-July 1 at Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square South, Manhattan), takes Peterson's signature formal rigor and visual wizardry to the previously unexamined territory. Timothy Haskell and Psycho Clan are finding news ways to delight New Yorkers during the holidays. They have successfully scared the pants off many with the critically acclaimed Nightmare Haunted House. They have brought New Yorkers gleeful, springtime joy with Full Bunny Contact. Now, they're ready to give New Yorker's copious amounts of mirth and frivolity with Stantastical: A Very, Merry Twistmas. The biggest, baddest bunnies New York has ever seen will descend upon Manhattan this spring, for a cage battle like no other. Timothy Haskell, creator of New York's most horrifying haunted house, NIGHTMARE, has announced plans for FULL BUNNY CONTACT, a weekend-long Easter festival with a decidedly twisted and whimsical take on the traditional spring fair. Wander the grounds and participate in games and activities with a main event that pits New Yorkers against hardcore bunnies in an Easter egg hunt for the ages.
