Ben Brantley may have urged everyone to mortgage their homes if that was what it took to secure a ticket to Hamilton, but Senator Charles Schumer is doing his part to make that unnecessary. According to Newsday, Schumer has introduced legislation that would impose fines on anyone using computer technology to purchase tickets-to Hamilton, and other live events-in bulk, in order to turn around and resell them on the secondary market for upwards of ten or twenty times the original price.

Look around, look around: There hasn't been a kid craze this big since Elsa whipped off her gloves and decided to you-know-what! This time, however, it isn't Disney that's leading the charge, it's history, and it's not just happening in New York anymore. As part of a week-long celebration (#Hamilweek), youngsters across the country sent in videos of themselves singing 'Schuyler Sisters' from the juggernaut Hamilton, to congratulate the hit musical's team on their one-year anniversary on Broadway.
