The New York Society Library will present a cabaret-style afternoon entitled Many Voices; or, Ms. Right, with soprano Stephanie Horowitz and pianist Darius Frowner celebrating the range of music and lyrics created by women.

In the Season 3 premiere of the 'Something New' podcast, award-winning musical theatre writer Joel B. New sat down with performer and host Ben Cameron (broadwaysessions.net). Ben has appeared on Broadway in Aida and the original casts of Footloose and Wicked. His touring credits include Sweet Charity (opposite Molly Ringwald), Footloose, Fame-The Musical, State Fair and Tommy.

Every year, despite a litany of warnings they come to the Big Apple with big dreams. Warnings like: “You have to pay your dues.” “It's a tough business, kid.” “How are you going to survive?” There's no such thing as an overnight success, yet still they come to be at “the top of the heap,” as Kander and Ebb so eloquently put it. The four young performers featured here haven't yet vaulted to the top of the cabaret heap, but they've certainly made their marks with excellent shows during 2014, while exhibiting the potential to get there. The spotlight is already shining on Chrysten Peddie, Angela Dirksen, Rembert Block, and Kristoffer Lowe.

BAD WITH MONEY - Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means - has announced another extension with five extra shows through the end of the year. The show was named a "Critic's Pick" from Time Out New York and called "courageously honest, keenly specific and emotionally naked" by The Advocate. There will extra performances on Monday nights at 7:00 PM from December 1 to 29,and continuing on Thursday nights at 9:30 PM through December 18. Ben's addiction has driven him to extreme lengths all his life. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem - or get rich trying. Written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark, BAD WITH MONEY is being performed at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue).

Edd Clark and Sue Matsuki kick off the holiday season by bringing their annual show, Sue & Edd's FABULOUS Christmas Show for 2 performances to Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th Street). Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 7th at 3:00.

Singer/ actor Joshua Dixon follows his acclaimed cabaret debut with a return engagement of FLY UP! at The Duplex on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00PM and Thursday, December 18th at 7:00PM. Using an eclectic mix of songs from Broadway, The Great American Songbook and contemporary music, FLY UP! will give us a glimpse into Joshua's life so far - from his Mormon childhood to his college years to becoming a man in music and theater. Stephen Sondheim, Jimmy Webb, Andrew Lippa, Jerry Herman, Scott Evan Davis, Cole Porter, and Bastille, among others, provide a backdrop to his fascinating, funny and freeing tale of growing up and letting go.

Based on the promotion of their new duo show, Revolution (a four-show run that ends at the Duplex tonight at 6:30), you might have gotten the impression that Dawn Derow and Kathleen France would be engaging in a zany bit of fluff poking fun at American military politics in a Bob Hope USO Show kinda way. But while there is definitely some frivolity and even some biting satire along the way, the women also convey a serious sense of patriotism and reverence for those who have fought and died in America's many wars. In fact, a portion of the audience cover charge is being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriourproject.org).

The well-known, hilarious musical comedy sister duo, Vickie & Nickie, are returning to Don't Tell Mama in NYC with their seasonal show, Vickie & Nickie's Holiday Sleigh Ride on Wednesday December 3rd and Saturday, December 13th 2014.

?Anthony Logan Cole will bring his acclaimed cabaret show Anthony Logan Cole: Just Misunderstood to The Duplex on November 29th at 9:30pm. He will be joined by his Les Miserables co-stars Megan and Tim Larsen who played Fantine and Marius, respectively, in the well receive reimagining at SummerStage in Leonia, NJ. The concert will be music directed by Steven Hunter Taylor.

'Musical Speed Dating', an evening featuring the collaborations of the BMI class of 2013-2014, will play The Duplex on Monday, November 10 at 9:30 pm. The concert will showcase the new works of these up-and-coming writers, as performed by an all-star Broadway cast including Charissa Bertels (A Christmas Story), Ali Ewoldt (Les Mis), Arlo Hill (The Phantom of the Opera) and KJ Hippensteel (The Book of Mormon).

From today, October 21 to November 8, August Strindberg Repertory will transport Strindberg's 'Miss Julie' to an antebellum Louisiana plantation in a new interpretation conceived by Artistic Director Robert Greer and adapted by Edgar Chisholm from a translation by Greer. The production will include a ballet sequence, which Strindberg specified in the original manuscript and which has never been performed before. The piece will be directed by Robert Greer and choreographed by Ja' Malik.
