(New York, October 14, 2015)—The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced today that The Costume Institute's spring 2016 exhibition will be manus x machina: fashion in an age of technology, on view from May 5 through August 14, 2016(preceded on May 2 by The Costume Institute Benefit). Presented in the Museum's Robert Lehman Wing and Anna Wintour Costume Center, the exhibition will explore the impact of new technology on fashion and how designers are reconciling the handmade and the machine-made in the creation of haute couture and avant-garde ready-to-wear.

Well-Strung, the popular string quartet that is also a boy band, launched their second album POPssical with a CD Release Concert at Feinstein's/54 Below. The show was a reworked version of their cabaret revue titled POPssical, and included new surprises mixed in with the familiar favorites. As always with the gifted group, the guys played their instruments with virtuosic integrity and provided stirring vocals, especially during melodious harmonies.

Participant Media announced that Hulu has acquired the exclusive streaming rights for seasons one and two of its critically acclaimed series PLEASE LIKE ME, which airs on its television network, Pivot. Well-Strung has been on quite the roller coaster ride this year. They sold out their summer run at the Art House in Provincetown, with their show Summer Lovin' and got to perform at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton when their song 'Chelsea's Mom' went viral. Both the opening, and the event were simultaneously (not planned) scheduled.
