Every season from 2002 - 2004, a unique collaboration between Celebration Theatre and Playwrights 6 resulted in 'Christmastime is Queer,' a highly successful and critically acclaimed series of holiday-themed one-acts built around two criteria: each play had to have a holiday theme and GLBT content.

Berkshire Theatre Group is pleased to announce the reprise of our annual community production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by Eric Hill and presented for the first time at The Colonial Theatre. Revel in the joy and redemptive power of Christmas as told in the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the infamous miser who is reformed and shown the error of his ways by four spirits. Journey back to Victorian England and experience the classic story filled with terrific turns and infused with holiday music.

Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and John Guare join the previously announced Blythe Danner, Ted Danson, Parker Posey, Peter Dinklage, Lili Taylor, Michael Stuhlbarg at the Soho Rep SPRING GALA 2011 honoring Marian Seldes. Co-hosted by Mr. Bogosian and Tim Blake Nelson the evening will also feature musical performances by Jomama Jones & The Lisps. The stage performance will feature scenes and songs from past and upcoming Soho Rep shows. Special musical guest will be Jomama Jones - who had a critically acclaimed run at Soho Rep earlier this season - in addition to The Lisps, performing a song from their new musical FUTURITY. Syfy is readying an exciting all-new chapter in the Battlestar Galactica saga with a greenlight for Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome from Executive Producer David Eick, it was announced today by Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Syfy and Co-Head of Content for Universal Cable Productions. Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) has announced its schedule of public development readings of plays developed in the 2010 Emanuel Fried New Play Workshop (NPW). 2010's NPW reading series includes readings of new plays by Annette Daniels Taylor, Michael Fanelli, Alex Livingston, Justin Karcher, James Marzo, Shawn McLaughlin, Steve Roylance, Vincent Scarsella, Darryl Schneider, Melody Von Smith, and Neil Wechsler, as well as RLTP Resident Playwright, Literary Director, and NPW Founder and Moderator Jon Elston.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) in partnership with Broadway Impact today announced programming for three Post-Performance Talkbacks to discuss varied topics related to the themes of their acclaimed production of Yank!, currently playing at York Theatre at Saint Peter's. Yank! features music by Joseph Zellnik, book and lyrics by David Zellnik, and direction by Igor Goldin. Performances began on February 16th and continue through March 21, 2010.
