DARA, adapted by Tanya Ronder from Shahid Nadeem's play, originally performed by Ajoka Theatre, Pakistan, opened in the Lyttelton Theatre on 27 January, directed by Nadia Fall. The show runs through 4 April 2015.

Grammy Award winning kora (21-string Malian harp) virtuoso Toumani Diabete and his eldest son Sidiki, a griot (a member of a West African musical hereditary caste), master kora player and hip-hop star are preparing to give a rare one night only performance at Arts Centre Melbourne's Hamer Hall on March 5. The Trustees of The Laurents / Hatcher Foundation, Inc. are pleased to announce that THE GUARDS AT THE TAJ by RAJIV JOSEPH has been selected for the 2015 LAURENTS / HATCHER FOUNDATION AWARD. Symphony Space will welcome the season with the iconic gospel group Blind Boys of Alabama tonight, December 3 (8 pm) in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre.
