This summer marks the 52nd annual Summer Sing Program. Each summer, the New York Choral Society produces a Summer Sings series that features the most popular masterworks of the choral literature. Taking place every Wednesday at 7:30pm from tonight, July 25th - August 29th at Symphony Space in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, six prominent choral conductors from the New York area will lead audience members to sing through these popular works. Scores are provided by the New York Choral Society.

The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, launches its G&S Fest 2013, presenting three iconic classic productions: The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore and The Yeomen of the Guard when the company stages its gala return to City Center (West 55th Street) January 4th - January 20th.

The artists present "Die Jahrhundertwende," a program featuring songs by two of the last great romantic Lieder composers (Wolf and Brahms) and two pioneers of modernity (Schoenberg and Berg). Along with two less famous but exceptionally interesting transitional figures (Zemlinsky and Pfitzner), the program explores the astonishing variety in German Song during this pivotal 15 years.

New York City's Drama Desk-nominated Parallel Exit returns to the Joyce SoHo for the third time, to present the world premiere of I LOVE BOB, an evening-length comic ballet, from tonight, July 20-July 29, 2012.

Singers Forum, in conjunction with Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor/producer Alec Baldwin, have announced the four projects chosen for the first-annual Alec Baldwin Fellowship at Singers Forum. A year-long program devoted to the individualized workshopping process of each project, the Fellowship is an opportunity for emerging artists to hone and craft their work in a safe and nurturing environment. A Festival of the completed works will be presented in the Fall of 2013.

The Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre kicks off its new season in August with the West Coast premiere of Chinglish. David Henry Hwang won three Obies and the Tony Award for Best Play with popular scripts like M. Butterfly and FOB. Now he's back with a canny comedy of cross-cultural errors. Two-time Obie-winner Leigh Silverman returns to the Roda Theatre to stage the play.

Ocean State Theatre Company, currently celebrating its Fifth Anniversary Season as the not-for-profit producing entityat the historic Theatre By The Sea, welcomes back, by popular demand, PBS' Mr. Steve, who will be bringing his high-energy interactive music to the seaside playhouse for two performances today, July 13, 2012.

Ballet NY presents its 2012 Season, including the World Premiere of Trois Mouvements by Artistic Director Medhi Bahiriand the Company Premiere of emerging choreographerJohn-Mark Owen's Triptych, from August 9-11, 2012 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55th Street, NYC (at Ninth Avenue). Blue13 Dance Company and the Dance Conservatory of Pasadena celebrate National Dance Day with a fundraiser, "INDIAN SUMMER," at the Dance Conservatory of Pasadena, 496 South Arroyo Boulevard, Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. - Midnight, an Outdoor and Indoor Festival including a Bollywood Bazaar, a Bollywood Bhangra Dance Party and performances throughout the day and night by Blue13 Dance Company, Trey Rich, Jamie Gregor, Marie Poppins, Francisco Martinez, MnR Dance Factory, Daniel Coffman, Prince Andrew, Jacob Jonas & Jill Wilson, Shiva Ware, and Chris "cj3" Rutledge. Live music will be provided by Suvah Entertainment. A portion of the proceeds from the day will benefit The National Kidney Foundation, a charity close to Blue13 Dance Company Artistic Director, Achinta S. McDaniel's heart, having lost her sister to complications related to kidney disease in 2003.

The American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF) presents Tap City, the preeminent annual tap dance festival of the world.
