Fresh off of the success of its previous Season, and particularly its most recent, acclaimed production of THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA by Tennessee Williams, Southern Rep is pleased to announce its 2014-15 Mainstage Season, featuring four productions by, or about, Louisianans: BROOMSTICK by John Biguenet (regional premiere), DETROIT by Lisa D'Amour (regional premiere), BOUDIN: The New Orleans Music Project curated by Matt Callahan, Sean Daniels, Aimee Hayes (world premiere), and SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER by Tennessee Williams, in partnership with the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival.

The New York premiere of the late award-winning playwright Oni Faida Lampley's play Tough Titty, a poignant and funny exploration of what comes next for a Brooklyn mother diagnosed with breast cancer begins tonight April 23 and runs through May 11.

MCC THEATER has announced its four-show 2014-15 Main Stage Season, which runs Fall 2014 through Summer 2015. All productions will be staged at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). This announcement comes on the heels of one of MCC's most acclaimed seasons yet, which began in Fall 2013 with the New York premiere of John Pollono's Small Engine Repair and continued with the Off-Broadway premiere of Robert Askins' Hand to God. The final production of MCC's 2013-14 Season, Penelope Skinner's The Village Bike starring Greta Gerwig and directed by Sam Gold, has its North American debut beginning May 22, 2014. Hampstead Theatre presents the World Premiere of WONDERLAND by Beth Steel, directed by Edward Hall, and designed by Ashley Martin Davis. The production will run 20 June - 26 July 2014, with an official press night set for Thursday 26 June at 7pm.

Lincoln Center Theater will present the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl's new play THE OLDEST BOY this fall. The production, to be directed by Rebecca Taichman, will begin previews Thursday, October 16 and open on Monday, November 10 in the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Aurora Theatre continues the 2013-2014 Harvel Lab Series with a Teatro del Sol production, Mariela in the Desert by Karen Zacarias. It is 1950 and artists Mariela and Jose are living an isolated existence in the desert of Northern Mexico, haunted by the ghost of their young son. Jose is very ill and Mariela sends a telegram to their daughter encouraging her to come home. Where once the walls were beautifully decorated, now only one painting remains, and it is shrouded in mystery. This play will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. This production features an amazing cast including the stunning Blanca Aguero in the title role of Mariela and Aurora Theatre Producing Artistic Director Anthony P. New Georges will present World Premiere productions by Kate Benson (2014 Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission winner), Krista Knight (Salamander Leviathan at Joe's Pub; Clementine and the Cyber Ducks at Incubator Arts Project), and Caroline V. McGraw (2013 Page 73 Playwriting Fellow) as part of The New Georges Jam On Toast, a brand-new festival featuring work by The New Georges Jam, a 'performance gym' for early-career female playwrights and directors founded in 2010 by Lucy Alibar, Jess Chayes, and Portia Krieger.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to close its 2013-2014 English Theatre season with Caryl Churchill's influential British play Top Girls, directed by Micheline Chevrier and featuring an all-female cast led by Laura Condlln and Leni Parker. Presented in the Segal Theatre from April 27th - May 18th, 2014.

Tarragon Theatre, under the artistic direction of Richard Rose, proudly presents the world premiere of Soliciting Temptation by Governor General Award winner and Tarragon playwright-in-residence Erin Shields. Directed by Tarragon's Assistant Artistic Director Andrea Donaldson, this compelling drama shines a light on the complexities of sex tourism and our preconceptions about love. Starring Soulpepper stalwart Derek Boyes and emerging artist Miriam Fernandes, Soliciting Temptation opens tonight, April 9 and runs to May 4 (with previews from April 1) in Tarragon's Extraspace.

BAY STREET THEATRE NEW WORKS FESTIVAL will take place on April 25-27 at the Bay Street Theatre on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor, NY. The Festival is produced in Association with SPACE on Ryder Farm. The media sponsor for the festival is Dan's Papers Literary Prize Contest.

What happens when a strapping young Englishman suddenly finds he has become a woman? It's an amazing journey, to say the very least, in Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's sweeping and witty Orlando, beginning a 5-week run at Stage West tonight, April 3.

The Theatre @ Boston Court and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater present Everything You Touch, by Shelia Callaghan, directed by Jessica Kubzansky. Opening night is Saturday, April 12, 2014 on the Main Stage at Boston Court Performing Arts Center, 70 North Mentor Avenue.
