The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) awarded $25,000 to support the A.R.T. production of The Glass Menagerie. The A.R.T. is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant.

John Tiffany's production of Once, winner of eight 2012 Tony awards including Best New Musical, will open in the West End in Spring 2013. With book by award-winning Irish playwright and screenwriter Enda Walsh, the London production of Once will open at the Phoenix Theatre on 9 April, with previews from 16 March 2013. Currently booking to 30 November 2013, Once will be produced in the West End by Barbara Broccoli, John N. Hart Jr., Patrick Milling Smith, Frederick Zollo, Brian Carmody, Michael G. Wilson, Orin Wolf and Michael Rose Limited in association with New York Theatre Workshop. Prior to its West End opening Once will run at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin from 22 February - 9 March 2013.

America's favorite holiday tradition, the 86th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, returns to dazzle and enchant millions nationwide today, Thursday, November 22. The festivities will be featured both on NBC and CBS, each providing performances from different Broadway companies. On November 15th, the winners of the Stage Directors and Choreographers' Joseph A. Callaway award were announced at an intimate presentation at the SDC offices, attended by most of the finalists. John Tiffany, director and Steven Hoggett, choreographer each won the prestigious award for their collaborative work on Once, produced by New York Theatre Workshop.

ROCKY - The Musical has released its German trailer, featuring leading actors Drew Sarich and Wietske van Tongeren as Rocky and Adrian, as well as Uwe Dreves as Rocky's coach Mickey. Watch it below!

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice which tells the back story of Peter Pan, announced today that the show will host a post-performance Halloween costume party on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Tuesday, October 30. Both the young and the young at heart are encouraged to come to the 7:00 PM performance on Halloween Eve of Peter and the Starcatcher in their best Peter Pan inspired attire. After the show, ticket holders dressed in costume will be invited on stage to meet the cast and participate in a group photo.

The producers of Broadway's ONCE are seeking one five to seven year old girl to play IVANKA, the sweet natured daughter of GIRL. Actresses should be comfortable on stage and have the ability to sing. The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony Award-winning play by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice, announced today that Starcatcher has assembled a special behind-the-scenes team to help raise awareness and funds for men's health issues by letting their moustaches grow throughout the month of November as part of Movember.

Broadway San Jose, A Nederlander Presentation in association with Team San Jose, has announced its 2012-2013 Season, which includes the Bay Area Premiere of the Tony Award Winning MEMPHIS! The season also includes South Bay debuts of ROCK OF AGES, Tony Award-Winning BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL and GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT. Also in the season are family favorites CATHY RIGBY as PETER PAN and BLUE MAN GROUP. Broadway San Jose's 2012-2013 Season begins October 23, 2012 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.

The full cast is announced for Sheffield Theatres' production of Simon Beaufoy's The Full Monty directed by the company's Artistic Director Daniel Evans. Leading the company are Kenny Doughty, Craig Gazey, Simon Rouse, Keiran O'Brien,Roger Morlidge and Sidney Cole.

Over 20 years in the making, singer songwriter Glen Hansard released his first ever solo album, Rhythm and Repose, on Anti- Records on June 19. Best known for his work with The Frames, The Swell Season and in the feature film Once, for which he won an Academy Award, Rhythm and Repose is Hansard's debut solo album and first album of new material since his 2009 release Strict Joy with The Swell Season. Theatre company Frantic Assembly, led by artistic directors Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett, previously announced the cast for the revival of their hit boxing play Beautiful Burnout, which premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010, in a co-production with the National Theatre of Scotland.
