In an upcoming episode of NBC's THE OFFICE called Larger Than Life, Andy and Dwight achieve some unwanted fame.

Charlie Day makes his hosting debut on November 5. Day currently stars in the hit FX comedy series, 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.' In addition to starring, he also serves as a creator, writer and executive producer for the series. He was most recently seen in the summer blockbuster comedy 'Horrible Bosses,' and will start production later this year on the highly anticipated Guillermo Del Toro movie, 'Pacific Rim.'

NBC's 'The Office' takes to the great outdoors this Thursday when Andy invites his family and co-workers to a garden party at Schrute Farms. The episode airs Thursday, October 13th at 9/8c.

Jim Caruso will present CBS News anchor Charles Osgood in 'A Columbus Day Special: A Voyage of Discovery,' with Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, Mo Rocca, Harry Smith and many other surprise guests at Birdland on Monday, October 10 at 7pm. Working Title Films has commenced production on Joe Wright's epic love story Anna Karenina, adapted from Leo Tolstoy's classic novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love). The film will shoot in the U.K. and Russia. Focus Features will distribute the movie domestically, and Universal Pictures International (UPI) will distribute the movie internationally.

The world premiere of I Love Lucy® Live on Stage, a musical comedy tribute to one of the most popular television shows, opens at the Greenway Court Theatre on October 1.

CAPA today announced its season lineup for 2011-12. Highlights include the Columbus premiere of Theatre Royal Bath's production of Harold Pinter's acclaimed play, The Caretaker, starring the Tony® Award-winning actor of stage and screen, Jonathan Pryce.

Production has begun in London on LIFE'S TOO SHORT, the new comedy series from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (creators of the Golden Globe-winning BBC comedy series 'The Office' and the HBO series 'Extras' and 'The Ricky Gervais Show'). The seven-episode series will debut on BBC Two later this year and on HBO in 2012.

According to Deadline.com, stage and screen star Jessica Hecht will guest star in the upcoming final season of ABC's 'Desperate Housewives.' Hecht will play 'a love interest for newly separated Tom Scavo (Doug Savant).'

Multi-hyphenate comic impresarios Steve Carell (The Office) and David Steinberg (Sit Down Comedy with David Steinberg) are bringing the biggest names in comedy to the table as executive producers of LAUGHING STOCK, a revealing new comedy interview series featuring the world's funniest personalities, one-on-one with host Steinberg, it was announced today by SHOWTIME President of Entertainment David Nevins. Iconic talent spanning five decades will discuss the art of comedy, evolution of the genre and their ascension to the top of their field. Carell and Steinberg will serve as executive producers, alongside Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock for Carousel Productions, with Steinberg also serving as Director and Host. The ten, half-hour episodes will debut on SHOWTIME in early 2012.
