Now in its 15th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook celebrates the best in American singing and songwriting with a new chapter in the Songbook story: 'American Songbook in the Penthouse,' a series of weekend-only performances by performers and composers presented in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, an intimate yet elegant venue that brings artists closer to the audience in a cabaret-style setting. The second weekend of Kaplan Penthouse performances, the sixth week of American Songbook 2013, runs April 5-6, 2013. April 5th belongs to Cristin Milioti, who was nominated for a Tony Award in 2012 for her lead role in the musical Once.

The company of the first North American tour of WICKED will welcome Alison Luff as Elphaba and John Davidson as The Wizard on Tuesday, April 30 in Dallas, TX.

The company of the second North American tour of WICKED will welcome Jennifer DiNoia as Elphaba, Hayley Podschun as Glinda and David Nathan Perlow as Fiyero tonight, April 3 in Rochester, NY.

On Broadway, The Book of Mormon has broken the Eugene O'Neill Theatre's house record 44 times. The National Tour of The Book of Mormon has continually broken house records across the country since opening in Denver in the summer of 2012. The Chicago production of The Book of Mormon holds the house record at the Bank of America Theatre. The show just released a new promo featuring creators Try Parker and Matt Stone and you can check it out below!

Kaplan Penthouse, an intimate yet elegant venue that brings artists closer to the audience in a cabaret-style setting. 'American Songbook in the Penthouse' embraces adventuresome performers and celebrates composers and lyricists, both newer and veteran. With a seating capacity of just 225, the Kaplan Penthouse allows acoustic performers to be heard the way they intend - near to the audience and without elaborate amplification. The size of the space also allows performers to interact with their audience to make them an integral part of their performance, something difficult to do in a larger, more formal venue.

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY will soon release the Original Cast Recording of Kinky Boots, produced by Cyndi Lauper, William Wittman and Stephen Oremus. The producers of The Book of Mormon, which opened Thursday night at London's Prince of Wales Theatre, announced that the show set a record for the biggest single day of sales in West End and Broadway history. Between 10:00 AM and Midnight on Friday, March 22, the day after opening, £2,107,972 ($3,210,019) was taken in ticket sales. 150,000 additional tickets have been made available and the show is now booking until January 11, 2014.

The Book of Mormon opened last night at the Prince of Wales Theatre to mixed reviews with ticket sales of £9 million.
