The Chicago area's top cabaret artists will celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah by performing some of America's favorite songs and sharing holiday memories during the Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) of Northwestern University's special two-night event, 'Holiday Divas!'

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and Executive Producer James A. Blackman, III proudly present the Broadway family musical SEUSSICAL, based on the works of Dr. Seuss with book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and music by Stephen Flaherty.

A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE will make its European premiere beginning November 11th at the Union Theatre in London. The production will star Olivier winner Paul Clarkson as Alfie Byrne. A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE features a book by Terrence McNally with music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.

On November 23rd 2009 The York Theatre Company held a gala celebrating The 2009 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre to Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. The event was held at the Racquet and Tennis Club.

Following an acclaimed original sold-out run, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) proudly announces a limited return engagement of the company's recent World Premiere production of CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION, the new hit play by Annie Baker ('An original voice' - Daily News; 'A playwright to know' - Newsday). Directed by Sam Gold ('A magic-fingered director' - Variety; 'An uncommonly observant eye and ear' - The New York Times), the original engagement opened Tuesday, October 13 to across-the-board rave reviews and was ultimately extended twice by critical and audience demand through Saturday, November 21. The return limited engagement will begin performances Tuesday, December 15 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater with tickets on sale through Sunday, January 17, 2010.

The Actors Fund's Auction of 1000 Stars Holiday Edition is live for bidding online through December 10. The event will raise money to support the entertainment charity.
