Skyline Theatre Company Names New Managing Director

Skyline Theatre Company, Bergen County's most established professional theatre company, has named Stephanie Simons Neal as its new Managing Director. Stephanie, who will maintain her role as the company's Resident Stage Manager, succeeds Victoria Sollecito, who remains on staff and becomes Skyline's first Development Director.

Clear Channel Spectacolor is Co-Producer of the 2014 simulcast and an official media partner of the 68th Annual Tony Awards. Sunday, January 8 at 4pm Smoke Jazz Club will presents a reading of Frank Christopher's play Flutter By's, a play that pushes the suspension of disbelief envelope. The comedy is set in turbulent New York circa 2001 and examines the lives of the O'Neil family and the lives of their son Anthony's childhood friends. Tony Red Carpet Facing Union Picket?

Variety is reporting that due to a logistical decision to move the Tony Awards red carpet across the street from the Beacon theatre, and the hiring of a non-union crew to do so, the Local One union (who will work on the rest of the Awards) is threatening to protest and picket the red carpet. It's being speculated on by the trade paper that a Local One picket could result in Actors Equity members not walking the red carpet for the awards show.
