Feinstein's at Loews Regency is continuing its Spring 2012 season with the return engagement of award winning vocalist, Sheera Ben-David through May 19, 2012.

The Attic Theater Company presents a limited run of Erica Lipez's play The Tutors. The production is directed by Drama League Directors Project Alumnus Laura Braza, and performances are tonight, May 18th through May 26th at The Access Theater.

Now celebrating its 20th Anniversary, The Blank Theatre's Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival has chosen 12 plays by young playwrights, aged 9 -19, from nine different states. These plays will be presented by professional actors and directors in this year's festival at The Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, May 31 - June 24. Full details below.

CYCLES, Robert Litz's funny and explosive new play, receives its world premiere as part of the 2012 Hollywood Fringe. Directed by Stefan Lysenko, CYCLES stars Emmy-nominated stage/screen veteran Alan Rosenberg opposite one of L.A.'s hottest young talents, Dominic Rains.

Play in the Box presents a FEEDING TIME, a world premiere dark comedy by M. Nasorri Pavone for the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2012, with previews June 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. and an opening night set for June 14.

Towne Street Theatre presents a staged reading of 'The Fountain' by Harriet A. Dickey, Tuesday @ 8pm on May 22, 2012 at the Stella Adler Theatre, located at 6773 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, Calif. $5 donation requested.

The songbook of Grammy Award winners David Hidalgo sand Louie Perez of Los Lobos drives Evangeline, the Queen of Make-Believe, a multimedia play with music by Theresa Chavez, Louie Perez and Rose Portillo that takes its title from the group's 1985 rocker "Evangeline." Chavez and Portillo co-direct the world premiere production for About Productions, opening at the Bootleg Theater tonight, May 12 for a limited, three-week engagement through May 27. Low-priced previews take place May 3-11.

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting announced today that the Seventh Annual Stella by Starlight Benefit Gala will be held May 20th at the Players Club in New York City. This year's honorees include Harry Belafonte, James Earl Jones, Daryl Roth, Ed Schultz and Masa Tanaka.

On May 26 @ 2:00pm, the Orange County Playwrights Alliance's OCPA Studios series returns to the Hunger Artists Theatre Company with the reading of Erica's Bennett's drama Water Closet. The resumption of the series also marks a new chapter: OCPA Studios is now a benefit series of play readings, with 100 percent of the box office going to the host theatres.

id Theater returns to McCall, Idaho for the 12th Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, June 11-23, sponsored by the Alpine Playhouse. Playwrights, actors and directors from around the country will travel to McCall and, working with local artists and students, develop ten new plays that will be presented to the public free of charge. Since 2001, the Conference has developed more than 100 new plays by some of the most exciting voices in American Theater.

Vital Theatre Company and Brooklyn Theatre Arts High School had a ribbon cutting ceremony by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz for the newly renovated South Shore Auditorium on May 2nd. Following the event was a proclamation for the inaugural production, "Footloose" with a performance of the show.
