IRT and Ricochet Collective announce the addition of Jody Flader (The Slug Bearers… at The Vineyard), to the cast of the World Premiere of GORDY CRASHES, by Sam Byron. Directed by Sherri Eden Barber, previews begin June 5 at IRT Theater with opening night slated for Friday, June 12. Flader replaces Clea Alsip, who leaves to join the cast of Neil Labute's The Way We Get By with Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski.

GO FIGURE! Productions, LLC is thrilled to announce the world premiere of GO FIGURE! THE RANDY GARDNER STORY, starring World Champion Figure Skater Randy Gardner and written & directed by Josh Ravetch (the co-creator and director of Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking, Dick Van Dyke's, Step In Time, and long distance swimmer, Diana Nyad's, ONWARD!). GO FIGURE! will preview tonight, May 14 at 8:00pm and will open on Friday, May 15 at 8:00pm and will run through Sunday, June 14th before moving on to West Hollywood, Las Vegas and Boston where it will appear in concert with the 2016 Ice Skating World Championships. Opening Weekend Special Guest Artists will be Mr. Gardner's skating partner of 45 years, Tai Babilonia and Olympic Figure Skating Royalty, Gold Medalist, Dorothy Hamill with other special guests to be announced during the run of this production.

Directed by Christopher Scott, The Glass Menagerie will feature Saundra Santiago ('The Sopranos'), Richard Prioleau (HBO's 'A Normal Heart') as Tom, Olivia Washington (Lee Daniels' The Butler) as Laura, and Doug Harris (The Found Dog Ribbon Dance) as Jim. The play began on May 8 and opens tonight, May 14 running through May 30 at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street).

The 10th Anniversary STELLA BY STARLIGHT Gala just took place last night, May 11, 2015 at The Prince George Ballroom in New York City, with Honorary Chair Donald Katz, to celebrate and benefit the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. The Marlon Brando Award for excellence in the arts and a life devoted to social engagement was presented to ETHAN HAWKE; The Harold Clurman Spirit Award for courageous contribution to the culture of the City of New York and beyond  to TRYMAINE LEE; The Stella Adler Award for consummate artistic achievement and interpretation to KATE MULGREW; and The Group Theater Award for prolific achievement in theater, film and television arts and community and social commitment to JOHN PATRICK SHANLEY. Kapow-i GoGo is a theatrical experience built for an audience used to binge-watching Netflix. Continuing its buzzy run at The PIT, Kapow-I GoGo will do a hyper-marathon of all three parts - 9 episodes - almost 4 hours of content - on Sunday May 24th at 1pm. Intermissions will be plentiful, don't worry. The PIT's Love Bar is just outside the door to the theater, fully stocked and with Kapow-I Specialty drinks all afternoon.
