New Plays and Musicals can sometimes take years to nurture before making it to a professional stage with paying customers. One such play opening at the 2017 NY Summerfest July 31 at Hudson Guild Theatre has had a 15-year journey; Jack Dyville's "My Stage Daddy".

Write Act Repertory's Producing Artistic Director John Lant is pleased to present the off-Broadway East Coast premiere of LILI MARLENE, a new musical about a family's escape from the rising tide of Nazism, with book, music and lyrics by Michael Antin and directed and choreographed by Mark Blowers.

MOC Entertainment has announced that it will present the world premiere of CHOICES & CONSEQUENCES, a candid new play (based on a true story) written and directed by Marlon Orlando Cole about the complexities that arise when one African American couple's solid relationship encounters the issue of male infertility, tonight, July 7th, at St. Luke's Theater, 308 West 46th Street.

The well reviewed, NY Times Critic's Pick Baghdaddy by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo returned to NYC on April 6, opening on Monday, May 1, 2017, will close as planned on June 25, 2017 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). It will have played 16 previews and 38 regular performances.

Producer/theater owner/multi-hypenate Edmund Gaynes will be awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Valley Theatre Awards in North Hollywood, California in Monday, June 5th.

The well reviewed, NY Times Critic's Pick by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo, the musical Baghdaddy began performances on  April 6 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). This Monday, May 22 they will launch a talk-back series, following the show, with more to be announced.

The long running Off-Broadway production, The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe has announced Rachel Osterhus has joined the cast as Lucy/White Witch opposite Jesse Corbin. 

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing firms, will hold the next event in its Seminars series focused on the Off Broadway Producing Process on Saturday May 20th, 2017.

Ensemble member Ethan Slater, who will star in The SpongeBob Musical on Broadway, took a moment to sing in the kitchen with co-stars Brandon Espinoza and Claire Neuman. Check it out below!
