The 1979 cult classic "The Warriors", with an introductory performance by acclaimed poet Lemon Andersen., is the next screening in the "Sunday Movies at the Palace with Lin-Manuel Miranda" series that features classic New York City films every month. It's set for Sunday, May 18, 2014. Doors open at 4:00pm. Stage show begins at 5:00pm. Screening at 5:30pm.

These six playwrights are the first participants in our New Play Frontiers residency program. New Play Frontiers is an initiative to conceive, develop, and produce new plays that explore our American identity through stories of deep meaning to specific populations in the five-county region that surround our theatre.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. John Turturro to Replace Robert De Niro in HBO's CRIMINAL JUSTICE Miniseries

The drama is based on the BBC BAFTA-award winning series from Peter Moffat and is to be adapted for HBOby Zaillian and Richard Price. The original series, set in New York City, followed a person through the justice system as they went on trial for murder. Turturro will portray Jack Stone, a downtrodden jailhouse attorney who frequents police stations for clients. There, he finds a client: Naz, an American-born Pakistani.
