The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for ALAN CUMMING SINGS SAPPY SONGS will go on sale Friday, January 29 at 10 a.m. Alan Cumming will perform two shows with his longtime collaborator and Emmy Award-winning musical director Lance Horne and cellist Eleanor Norton at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Dallas City Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District.

Producer Daniel Nardicio will present the eclectic and electric Tony Award-winning performer ALAN CUMMINNG in his headlining debut at Carnegie Hall on Monday, February 8 at 8:00 PM. The show Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs with Friends features guest stars Darren Criss and Ricki Lake, in addition to a special performance by the New York City Gay Men's Chorus.

Capitol Music Group (CMG), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company, announced today that Ashley Newton has been named President of CMG and Executive Vice President of Creative/Special Projects for UMG. The announcement was made by CMG Chairman and CEO Steve Barnett and UMG Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge, to whom Newton reports in his respective positions. In his newly-created CMG Presidency, Newton will work closely with Barnett and members of his executive team to set the creative direction of the company and oversee management of its day-to-day operations. In his UMG role, Newton will work with Grainge and his executive team on a variety of creative endeavors, including music, film and television projects. Newton will be based in Hollywood at CMG's iconic Capitol Tower.
