Ball in the House Performs at The Alden, 12/15

The Alden Theatre in McLean welcomes Boston-based a cappella group, Ball in the House (www.ballinthehouse.com), for one performance on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 8 p.m. The event is part of the Alden's, "Live @ The Alden" series, which is geared to young adults. Tickets are $20, $15 for McLean Community Center district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

The successful run of Australia's sensational singing group, Human Nature, at Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino has come to an end. Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature: The Ultimate Celebration of Motown has entertained tens of thousands of audience members at its legendary location. The final performance was last night, Sunday, November 25.

The McCallum Theatre has proven itself, once again, a consummate concert venue --- and it was the perfect venue to showcase these great hit songs and some great conversation with this singer-songwriter, record producer and former record executive -- a man who helped change the face of the music industry in the mid 20th century.
