Atlantic Theater Company presents the world premiere of Rod McLachlan's new play Good Television, directed by Bob Krakower. The cast will feature Talia Balsam, Jessica Cummings, John Magaro, Kelly McAndrew, Zoe Perry, Luke Robertson, Andrew Stewart-Jones, and Ned Van Zandt. The show is currently in previews, with an opening set for June 4, 2013, at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street). Limited engagement through Sunday, June 16, 2013. Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) Adventure Theatre MTC announces the retirement of Diane Hamilton, long-time lead artist, mentor and inspiration to Washington, D.C. area performing arts students after 27 years of service to her community and art.

Snap-Two Productions, Inc. and LimanAde Productions in association with Issembert Productions, Inc. will present a staged reading of the new drama with music, Signs of Life, at American University in the Katzen Arts Center Studio Theatre tonight, June 1 at 7:00 P.M. and June 2 at 1:00 P.M. The performances will feature American University alumni, current students and a student from BRAVO@KAT, the children's wing of Kensington Arts Theatre. This is the first academic production of Signs of Life.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a love-struck comedy taking the Benedum stage June 11-16, 2013. Audiences are sure to be delighted by the antics of seven brothers and 'wannabe' brides living under one roof in 19th century Oregon. Noted Broadway performers including Pittsburgh CLO alumni George Dvorsky and Mamie Parris will take the lead as Adam and Milly, along with an incredibly talented Pittsburgh CLO cast.

PS3 Charrette Elementary School NYC has announced a benefit reading of Kenneth Lonergan's This Is Our Youth on Monday, June 10 at 7pm at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42 Street. The reading will feature original cast members Josh Hamilton, Mark Ruffalo, and Missy Yager, and will be directed by original director Mark Brokaw.

Brave Spirits Theatre has announced its fourth production, William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The production will run beginning June 12 at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H Street, NE, Washington, D.C.

Round House Theatre concludes its 2013 Bethesda season with the area premiere of Becky Shaw, which runs tonight, May 29 thru June 23. Patricia McGregor makes her Round House directing debut with this comedy by Gina Gionfriddo, which was an Off-Broadway smash hit as well as aPulitzer Prize finalist. Opening night is Monday, June 3, 2013.

Bucks County Playhouse's 2013 Playhouse Productions summer season is set to include the world premiere of a new play by four time Tony Award -winning playwright Terrence McNally, starring Tony and Emmy Award- winner Tyne Daly. The balance of the season is made up of acclaimed musicals and plays and a production specifically for families. With 1,949 performances and 5 smash years in Chicago, the Tony Award-winning rock 'n' roll musical has surpassed both Wicked and Pumpboys and Dinettes, setting a new record for the longest running Broadway musical in Chicago.

Soho Rep has announced casting and an official opening date for the world premiere of Lucas Hnath's play A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney.

Final Analysis was a big winner at the 2012 Midtown International Theatre Festival Awards - even besting the producers expectations garnering 13 nominations (the most by any one production) and walking away with 7 awards. The 2014 season of New York City Center's Tony Award-winning Encores! series will open with Little Me directed by John Rando and starring Christian Borle ('Smash,' Peter and the Starcatcher) on February 5, 2014. The season will continue with The Most Happy Fella, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and starring Shuler Hensley (Oklahoma!, The Whale), followed by Irma La Douce, directed by John Doyle. Encores! Music Director Rob Berman will helm all shows.

The Tony-winning actor, who recently starred on NBC's SMASH, has officially signed on for Michael Mann's upcoming, untitled cyber thriller set in China, according to Deadline. Borle joins Chris Hemsworth, Viola Davis and Holt McCallany for the film from Legendary Pictures. Mann penned with the script alongside Morgan Davis Foehl.

Everyman Theatre closes its historic 2012/13 season with a staging of the rarely produced comedic gem, The Beaux' Stratagem. Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi directs the production, which features a large cast of 15 actors and includes Resident Company Members Megan Anderson, Clinton Brandhagen and Bruce Randolph Nelson. Everyman moved into its brand new theatre in January of this year. The production will run from June 5th through June 30th.
