Signature Theatre presents WEST SIDE STORY, directed by Signature Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signature's Sunday in the Park with George, Cabaret). The musical, a collaboration of music, dance and theater giants Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerome Robbins and Arthur Laurents, is considered by some to be one of the greatest musicals of all time. The Ford's Theatre to Continue 2015-16 Season with THE GLASS MENAGERIE

The Ford's Theatre 2015-2016 season continues with 'The Glass Menagerie' by Tennessee Williams, January 22 to February 21, 2016. One of the greatest American plays of the 20th century and Tennessee Williams's breakout drama, 'The Glass Menagerie' explores the visceral bonds of family. The production features stage and film actress Madeleine Potter as Amanda, with Tom Story as Tom, Jenna Sokolowski as Laura, and Thomas Keegan as the Gentleman Caller.

Signature's INCIDENT AT VICHY and NIGHT IS A ROOM to Play Final Performances This Week

The Signature Theatre productions of Arthur Miller's Incident at Vichy, directed by Michael Wilson, and Naomi Wallace's Night is a Room, directed by Bill Rauch, will both play their final performances this Sunday, December 20 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The twice-extended Incident at Vichy was named to Time Magazine's Top 10 Plays/Musicals of the Year, while Night is a Room, also extended, was called an "audacious jaw-dropper" by The New York Times.

Long Wharf Theatre to Welcome Benjamin Scheuer's THE LION This Winter

Long Wharf Theatre presents, in conjunction with Eva Price, THE LION, written and performed by Benjamin Scheuer, directed by Sean Daniels, from January 6 through February 7, 2016. The play will take place on Stage II. Tickets are $25-$85. The press opening will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7:30 pm.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of THE METROMANIACS by supremely clever playwright David Ives (All in the Timing, Time Flies). This uproarious new 'translaptation' of a classic French farce, Alexis Piron's La Metromanie, will be directed by one of America's most renowned stage directors, Michael Kahn, presented in association with Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Continuing to bring original musical stories and new productions to beloved Chicago audiences, 'Hershey Felder Presents' (George Gershwin Alone, Maestro Bernstein, The Pianist of Willesden Lane, Louis and Keely 'Live' at the Sahara) now brings BARITONES UNBOUND, a new play with music and baritone superstars to the Royal George Theatre as part of a continuing season of new productions. Performances begin at the Royal George, 1641 N. Halsted Street, today, December 11th, 2015 and continue through Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 with a press opening on Sunday, December 13th at 3:00 p.m. A special New Year's Eve performance includes a champagne and dessert reception with the artists.

Public Works Expands for 2016; Production Announced

The Public Theater announced today that after three years of successful programming and community engagement, PUBLIC WORKS will grow on both a local and national level. Three new community partners join PUBLIC WORKS 2016, which will include Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education (Bronx), Military Resilience Project (all boroughs), and Center for Family Life in Sunset Park (Brooklyn), who join Public Works partners Brownsville Recreation Center (Brooklyn), DreamYard Project (Bronx), and The Fortune Society (Queens), in addition to alumni partners Domestic Workers United (all boroughs, including Staten Island) and Children's Aid Society (Manhattan), as additional community partner organizations.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the reopening in January 2016 of its signature theatre space in downtown Berkeley, following nine months of renovation. The Thrust Stage, which opened in 1980 as Berkeley Rep's first permanent home, will be renamed the Peet's Theatre in recognition of a new major partnership with Peet's Coffee.
