Jane Lynch, William H. Macy et al. to Host THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Hollywood's Third Street Theatre, 5/4-6

Third Street Theatre, the West Hollywood 99-seat Equity Waiver theatre that brought LA the critically-acclaimed smash hit Falsettos, is pleased to announce three limited engagement fundraising gala performances of The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown on May 4th, 5th and 6th. Each night will bring audiences a fresh mix of Broadway, film and television talent with hosts Jane Lynch, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, and a cast that includes Tracie Thoms (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project) and Chase Williamson (Spring Awakening). Every performance will be immediately followed by a catered reception and a hosted wine bar.

University Hospitals Case Medical Center's Seidman Cancer Center is hosting IMAGINE: A Celebration of LIFE, a unique musical ensemble on Monday, May 7 in New York City. Led by Broadway actress and Cleveland native Betsy Werbel, the one-of-a-kind event raises funds for cancer research through the Brian Werbel Memorial Fund at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center.

New Village Arts announces an exclusive engagement of THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged) at the Schulman Auditorium in Carlsbad April 5-7. This highly comedic romp through all of Shakespeare's plays will be directed by Ensemble Member Justin Lang and feature Ensemble Member Kyle Lucy with Durwood Murray and Trevor Sanderson. Today, the spotlight falls upon Delaney Amatrudo, one of Nashville's most acclaimed young actors who finishes up her run as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at Page High School in Williamson County. Her resume boasts a collection of roles that would make anyone envious, including her starring stint in Circle Players' productions of 13 the Musical and Footloose. Last summer, she played Millie Owens in the First Night staged reading of William Inge's Picnic (which I directed, so I know how wicked good she is). Speaking of Wicked, the girl's been in training to play Elphaba since she was tyke!
