The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) in association with the York Theatre (James Morgan, Artistic Director) is pleased to present an invitation-only showcase presentation entitled Trunk and Disorderly: Songs from the Deep Dark Trunk of Jeff Blumenkrantz, who received the 2011 Fred Ebb Award. The presentation will feature Drew Gehling, Dee Hoty, Dee Roscioli, and Sarah Stiles.

York Theatre Company will present the 8th Annual NEO 8 on Monday, May 21 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a champagne and dessert reception to toast the evening.

92nd Street Y today announced the 2013 line-up for Lyrics & Lyricists™, 92Y's celebrated American Songbook series. Deborah Grace Winer returns for her fifth season as artistic director of the series, as well as one of the shows. Guest artistic directors leading the individual concerts are Rob Fisher (with host Sheldon Harnick), David Loud, Billy Stritch and Mark Lamos in his L&L debut.

Lakewood Theatre Company will celebrate its 60th anniversary season with six productions on its Mainstage and three productions on its Side Door stage beginning July 13, 2012. Season tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale now and prices for the six-show season range from $170.00 - $160.00. On Tuesday, April 3rd, Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) celebrated opening night of The Morini Strad, a new play by Willy Holtzman (Sabina). Directed by Casey Childs, the cast features Michael Laurence (Krapp39, Broadway's Talk Radio, Opus at Primary Stages), Tony nominee Mary Beth Peil ('The Good Wife,' 'Dawson's Creek,' The King and I), and celebrated violin soloist Hanah Stuart (Chicago Symphony Hall, Zankel Hall). The production features a set design by Neil Patel, costume design by David C. Woolard, lighting design by Mary Louise Geiger, original music and sound design by Lindsay Jones, and projection design by Jan Hartley.The limited engagement plays through April 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced casting for its production of First You Dream: The Music of Kander & Ebb in the Eisenhower Theater June 8 to July 1, 2012. The musical revue will star Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer, Patina Miller, and Matthew Scott. Originally produced at Signature Theatre in Virginia and co-conceived by David Loud and Eric Schaeffer, the production features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and will be directed by Eric Schaeffer. Jon Kalbfleisch will conduct the 22-piece Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. Press opening night is Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.
