(Let One Voice Emerge),' urging women and other unregistered voters to head to the ballot box on November 6.

Are you ready to have a good time?" asks timbales player and band leader Pete Escovedo at the beginning of Live From Stern Grove Festival, his terrific new album that captures a live show he played earlier this year at the legendary 75-year-old San Francisco cultural venue and institution. Escovedo and his band then swing into a breezy rendition of the Tito Puente classic "Picadillo Jam," and from that moment it's readily apparent the band can deliver on Escovedo's promise. Live From Stern Grove Festival is set for digital release today, September 25, 2012 on Concord Picante/Stiletto Flats Inc. (There will be a physical release in 2013.)

In celebration of National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 25, The Voter Participation Center joins with Balcony Films for a release of a new music video and original song, 'L.O.V.E. (Let One Voice Emerge),' urging women and other unregistered voters to head to the ballot box on November 6. 'Let one voice emerge, let your voice be heard' at the voting booth, the song reminds voters. Unmarried women, persons of color and young people - the Rising American Electorate - comprise 53 percent of the voting eligible population, and yet represent 63 percent of all unregistered citizens.

A follow up to his "Winter in America" EP released earlier this year, this new album project features conscious emcees such as Casual, The Grouch, Zumbi (of Zion I) and K-Maxx, as well as fellow Santana member (and 11-time Grammy Award Winner) Tony Lindsey, and iconic poet/vocalist Linda Tillery, featured with a spoken word performance of Dr. Martin Luther King's Nobel Peace Prize speech.

The idea for IN THE MOOD - A Time to Remember came to Gail Marchand, President of the Hudson Music Club, while her family was listening to Big Band music one evening and her father began reminiscing about WWII and how met her mother. Marchand took the concept to James Milvain who agreed to write the script. With Jean-Claude Olivier's vintage set, the musical support of Sheila Engel Katz (Musical Director) and Philippe Gobeille (Staging & Direction), and a talented group of on-stage and backstage volunteers, a touching original story, brimming with 1940's melodies, comes to life at Hudson Village Theatre.
