Marin Shakespeare kicks off its 25th Silver Season with a classic production of 'As You Like It,' Shakespeare's exuberant comedy set in the Forest of Arden. After being wrongfully forced into exile, Rosalind disguises herself as a man in this timeless, gender-bending romantic comedy. Featuring Elena Wright as Rosalind and Teddy Spencer as Orlando.

A RAISIN IN THE SUN's Sophie Okonedo Wins Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Play

Sophie Okonedo has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for A RAISIN IN THE SUN. This is Sophie Okonedo's first Tony nomination and her Broadway debut. She starred as Cressida in the National Theatre's Troilus and Cressida (1999). Okonedo was nominated for an Academy Award for Hotel Rwanda in 2004 and a Golden Globe for Tsunami: The Aftermath in 2006.

Darko Tresnjak won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER. This is Darko Tresnjak's first Tony nomination and his Broadway debut. He is the artistic director of Connecticut's Hartford Stage. He has directed at Theatre for a New Audience, The Public Theater, Old Globe, Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Royal Shakespeare Company Complete Works Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Huntington Theatre Company, Goodspeed Musicals, Long Wharf Theatre, Westport Country Playhouse, Vineyard Theater, and Los Angeles Opera.

TWELFTH NIGHT's Mark Rylance Wins Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Play

The Servant of Two Masters gets a fresh take in the deft hands of director and long-time Company artist Jenna Ware. Her fast-paced and hilarious adaptation of this classic Commedia dell'arte farce by Carlo Goldoni features an adroit and energetic cast, some of whom are Berkshire natives, and who trained with S&Co. as adolescents and are now acting, directing and teaching for the Company. Servant offers up a hearty dose of madcap'd mayhem, music, sword fighting and massive amounts of fun for our audiences of all ages to enjoy! This family-friendly show runs on the 200-seat, tented outdoor Rose Footprint Theatre from June 25 - August 23. Press Opening is Friday, June 27 at 5:30pm.
