In the year 2000, the face of Sean Martin Hingston became quite familiar to New Yorkers; not just theatergoers, but the average Joes and Janes who traversed the city via public transportation. Susan Stroman's innovative CONTACT was playing at Lincoln Center and its ads were blazoned on every bus, taxi, and subway billboard. The artwork featured the ravishing Deborah Yates as 'The Girl In The Yellow Dress being pursued by the forlorn-looking Boyd Gaines. Looking on was the menacing presence of Sean Martin Hingston. The image remains in the memories of almost everyone who saw it.

TV Land announced today that legendary comedic actor Tim Conway will appear in an upcoming episode of the critically-acclaimed hit TV Land sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland.' Also confirmed as guest stars in upcoming episodes are Dave Foley, Canadian comic actor, writer, director, producer and co-star of 'The Kids in the Hall' and 'NewsRadio,' Gary Anthony Williams from 'Boston Legal' and 16-year-old Mark Indelicato, who played 'Betty's' fashion-obsessed nephew on ABC's 'Ugly Betty.'

Jane Krakowski, the Tony Award winning Broadway star of Nine and Damn Yankees and the Emmy Award nominated star of '30 Rock' and 'Ally McBeal,' celebrated the release of her delightfully sexy debut album, The Laziest Gal In Town with an in-store CD signing and performance at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway at 66th Street) yesterday July 13, 2010. The album, available through DRG Records, was captured last fall during her nightclub debut at the Park Avenue hotspot Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Last week, Jane was nominated for her second Emmy Award for her performance on '30 Rock.'

Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters will host the 12th annual BROADWAY BARKS!, a star-studded dog and cat adopt-a-thon benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. The event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is sponsored by the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) and Pedigree® Food for Dogs with additional sponsorship by the New York Times. The event will take place on Saturday, July 10th in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m.; celebrity presentations of pets from citywide animal shelters will take place between 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. (Celebrity participation begins at 5:15 PM).
TV Land Renews 'Hot in Cleveland' for 2nd Season

TV Land announced today the second season pick-up of its hit original scripted sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland.' The network will start production of 20 new episodes in October 2010 with a launch tentatively scheduled for January 2011. Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White will return as series regulars for all 20 episodes.
