Out Front Theatre Company is ringing in the season with its first-ever holiday production, the world premiere of The Ethel Merman Disco Spectacular! Decking the halls with holiday tunes December 6-22, the production imagines what the legendary Ethel Merman's 1979 disco Christmas television special might have been. Featuring a dozen blood-pumping disco Christmas songs, arranged by Out Front's Resident Musical Director Nick Silvestri, the show takes place at the legendary Studio 54. Written and directed by Out Front Theatre's Founder and Producing Artistic Director Paul Conroy, the holiday special is the perfect change of pace that will have audiences dancing in the aisles, laughing in their seats and feeling the holiday spirit well into the New Year.

Set in 1975 after the Fall of Saigon, this New York Times Critics' Pick is a stranger-than-fiction true love story between two refugees-who find each other on the other side of the world. Qui Nguyen, a playwright and screenwriter for Marvel Studios, deploys hip-hop, fight sequences, and up-to-the-minute pop culture references to tell his own origin story as his parents "meet cute" in the repurposed barracks of a relocation camp in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.

UK Choir Festival announces its newly appointed patron, Bazil Meade MBE. Bazil Meade has been working in the music industry for over 2 decades. He is the founder and principal of the World famous 'London Community Gospel Choir'. Under his direction and tuition some of the industry's finest gospel and R'n'B singers have blossomed and found successful careers. He was honored with an MBE in the new year's honours list in 2018.
