Twentieth Century Fox Television will once again dominate the San Diego Comic-Con convention, with stars and creators of eleven of its highly-coveted, fan favorite shows at the world famous gathering next month.

TVGuide reports that The Office star Ellie Kemper will lend her voice to the hit animated FOX comedy AMERICAN DAD. The actress portrays Dunder Mifflin receptionist Erin Hannon on the NBC comedy.

On tonight's episode of CBS's NCIS: LOS ANGELES titled 'Red: Part One,' when a murder weapon in Idaho matches the one used in a national security case in L.A., Callen and Sam fly to the crime scene to join NCIS: Red, a mobile team of agents who live and work together as they solve crimes in various locations. HBO has finally announced its follow-up to the previous miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS and THE PACIFIC. The latest entry comes as an adaptation of Donald Miller's nonfiction piece, MASTERS OF THE AIR - with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks set as executive producers. The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news.

Before the musical Annie came to Broadway in 1977, few shows besides Oliver and The Sound of Music featured singing and dancing kids. There was the occasional child role in shows such as The Music Man and Peter Pan, but nowhere near the number of opportunities for skilled and talented kids on Broadway today. So in 1980, when I got a call to be the musical director and host of a New York City revue of professional show business kids, it was something new and different. As a matter of fact, the show would be taking place at the aptly named Something Different, New York's first "Dessert Nightclub" on the Upper East Side. The club was owned by Patricia Young, and besides the uncommon alcohol-free menu, the entire waitstaff was comprised of singers, who performed all night long.

It was announced today that Michael Madsen ('Reservoir Dogs,' 'Kill Bill: Vol. 1,' 'Kill Bill: Vol. 2'), Lacey Chabert ('Mean Girls,' 'Part of Five'), Scott Grimes ('Robin Hood,' 'American Dad') and Clare Kramer ('Bring It On,' 'The Rules of Attraction') will star alongside Thomas Ian Nicholas ('American Pie,' 'American Reunion,' 'The Rules of Attraction') in Brian A. Metcalf's new horror/drama THE LOST TREE.

As The Playlist reported earlier today, HBO is considering bringing back the critically acclaimed BAND OF BROTHERS for a third run on television. The first series aired in 2001, followed by the followup series, THE PACIFIC, in 2010.
