NBC has announced premiere dates for its burgeoning midseason schedule — dramas “The Blacklist,” “Allegiance, “Night Shift,” “A.D.” and “Odyssey,” event series “The Slap,” and comedies “One Big Happy” and “Undateable.”

A group of eight elite amateur and former professional athletes will ride their bicycles over 3,000 miles, coast-to-coast, in the 32nd Annual Race Across America in order to raise $250,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which is building a set of nine medical diagnostic and treatment centers to help wounded military heroes returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who are suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS).

Coming off a season in which the network catapulted to No. 1 in the 18-49 demo and saw double-digit improvement in many prominent timeslots, NBC has announced a line-up of popular returning series, inventive new comedies, compelling new dramas and season seven of the Emmy Award-winning musical competition series 'The Voice.'

NBC's developmental slate just expanded again with a series pick-up for ALLEGIANCE (formerly titled Coercion), a drama from writer/director George Nolfi based on the Israeli series The Gordin Cell.

Following the death of 27-year-old playwright Daniel James McClung in Sunday's high-rise fire in New York City, the family and best friends of Daniel's husband Michael Todd Cohen, who remains seriously injured following the fire, have released a statement.

According to Deadline, the network has decided not to bring the show back for a fourth season, whose ratings have consistently dropped off since it debuted in 2011. The series premiere drew 4.5 million viewers, Variety reports, but by last season's end, ROUGHNESS was drawing in, on average, only 2.5 million.
