On tonight's ACADEMY AWARDS, Sam Smith performed 'Writing's on the Wall,' from James Bond, a nominee for this year's Best Original Song.

While they're no Tonys, THE ACADEMY AWARDS are kind of a big deal for showbiz folks. So, throughout the week, BroadwayWorld has been covering the 2016 Oscars from a decidedly theatre perspective, and tonight will be no different. Winners of the 22nd ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS were revealed tonight, Saturday, January 30th (beginning at 8PM) on a simulcast airing live on TNT and TBS.

The Washington DC Screen Actors Guild Awards Reception will be held on January 30, 2016. This black-tie event will feature the live broadcast of the Screen Actors Guild Award Ceremony from Hollywood.
