Equinox Theatre Company is thrilled to present the regional premiere of Cry-Baby: The Musical Performances will be July 27 through August 18 with shows Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM. There will also be a pay-what-you-can industry night on Thursday, August 9. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door/$17 for groups of 6 or more in advance only.

A special, script-in-hand performance of PERSUASION, a new play by Sarah Rose Kearns, directed by Claire Moyer, will be performed on the afternoon of Saturday, July 14 at 3:30 PM, in the Victor Jory space at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

The Traverse Theatre is excited to announce the final additions to the Traverse Festival 2018 programme - including, in what is Scotland's Year of Young People 2018, Festival favourite Breakfast Plays: Youthquake, pairing three young Scottish playwrights from our Traverse Young Writers' group with three leading British writers. When artist Sarah Rose Reynolds started writing a show about her experience, she realized three poignant things about her life: 1) Her ADHD made it extremely hard for her to stick with anything; 2) She's never been comfortable with her gender and feels more like a 12-year-old boy who'd rather make fart jokes than take responsibility; and 3) She's spent way too much money on psychics to plan her future, hoping the answers would magically appear for her…without having to do any work.

Sara Holdren will direct a staged reading of Jane Austen's Persuasion, adapted for the theatre by emerging playwright Sarah Rose Kearns, on Monday, April 9th at 7 o'clock at The Players in New York City, 16 Gramercy Park South. This performance will feature Jack Halpin, Marc LeVasseur, Patricia McNamara, Chris Mixon, Daniel Reece, Amanda Jill Robinson (also acting as music director), Maggie Wetzel, Esther Williamson, and Jenna Zhu.

Bootleggers and 'business men', duchesses and dancers, and senators and 'servants' will populate Stage Door's Theatre 1 when Nice Work If You Can Get It opens on March 2nd.   The production will run through April 15th.

5th Avenue Theatre presents MAMMA MIA, which opened February 9th and runs through the 25th. The ABBA jukebox musical follows Sophie, a young woman determined to have her father walk her down the aisle, despite not knowing who he is. After reading her mother's diary, she narrows down her father's identity to three possible men, and, much to her mother's dismay, invites them all to the wedding.

The 5th Avenue Theatre's new production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn is running now through December 31st! This holiday season, Lorna Luft, the beloved performer and daughter of film and television icon Judy Garland, will star as Louise in 5th Avenue's Holiday Inn. Luft joins a phenomenal cast of local and national talent, including Eric Ankrim, Sarah Rose A. Davis, Matt Owen and Taryn Darr for a dazzling winter treat that is perfect for the whole family. 5th Avenue favorite Richard Gray will play Danny Reed. Caden Brauch and Kristoffer Holtan, will alternate the role of Charlie Winslow.
