London's celebrated annual 50-Hour Improvathon (The Stage Top 5 Fringe Theatre Events of 2015), a massive improvised comedy soap opera starring many of the world's leading improvisers, is back for a ninth year!

Now in its 11th year, Latitude Festival once again sets the bar high for summer festivals with the largest comedy line up in the UK, offering festival goers an unrivalled opportunity to see some of the biggest names in the industry, all over the same weekend.

The fourth LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET (LFoC) this year takes place from April 22 - May 8 and once again will be bringing the capital alive with the sound of sung cabaret and musical theatre shows.

The St. James Studio is delighted to once again be a host venue for the fourth London Festival of Cabaret. Nine events will take place at the St. James over the course of the festival, which will run from Friday 22 April to Sunday 8 May in venues across London including The Pheasantry and the Crazy Coqs. Highlights at the St. James include Sarah Louise Young and Michael Roulston's brand new show Cabaret Whore Presents…La Poule Plombee  and The Jay Rayner Quartet.

5 p.m.Following a 10-week engagement wowing audiences and critics alike in the first-ever season for an improvised musical in the West End, the run of SHOWSTOPPER! THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL is being extended, with a transfer to the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. For just 10 more performances between 15th February and 25th July, audience suggestions will be transformed instantly into all-singing, all-dancing shows with unpredictable and hilarious results.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical has been wowing audiences and critics alike in this first ever season for an improvised musical in the West End. The West End will welcome a record number of new British musicals this autumn, thanks to the world's first major season for an improvised musical.

This May, Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment presents the world premiere of a new musical The Verb, 'To Love' by Andy Collyer.

While the frat boys parked their boozy asses in the bar car (aka the couch) for the long road to the NCAA's Final Four over the past few weeks, NYC's village cabaret club The Duplex offered an alternative "March Madness": Cabaret shows about being crazy. As a devotee of time on a different sort of couch, I was drawn in to three separate performances--from Michael Shea, Stacie Koby, and Amber Petty--seeking some music therapy to get me through the tail end of a long winter.

Following a sell-out run at St. James Studio last month, musical revue Jerry's Girls will transfer to Jermyn Street Theatre for a limited three week run from Tuesday 12 to Sunday 31 May 2015, with a press night on Friday 15 May.

JERRY'S GIRLS started performances yesterday 3rd March at The St James Studio Theatre, London, Starring Anna-Jane Casey, Ria Jones and Sarah-Louise Young. Press night is tonight, 4th March 2015.

Anna-Jane Casey is as effervescent as usual when she takes a break from rehearsing Jerry's Girls, a reveue of the work of Jerry Herman, which opened at the St James Theatre this week.
