The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is now accepting submissions for new musicals for its 2016 Festival. Also announced was the selection of panelists for the 2016 Grand Jury who will help to choose shows for acceptance into the Next Link Project, NYMF's primary writer-service program.

She is known for bringing magic and song to life on Broadway in her award-winning role in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Now Laura Osnes has brought a bit of her own fairytale singing to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. Earlier this month, Osnes joined the Choir and Orchestra in two gala performances entitled 'Music for a Summer Evening,' their annual concert held in conjunction with community-wide Pioneer Day celebrations. More than $500,000 was raised in support of older foster kids needing permanent families with the help of Broadway and Hollywood heavy-hitters last night at the St. James Theatre, including Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Darren Criss, Tituss Burgess, Megan Hilty, Caroline Rhea and many more. The inaugural event, hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley with BeachBody.com, supported youth in foster care through You Gotta Believe, New York's only nonprofit specifically focused on finding permanent families for youth in foster care aged 10 year and older, and the Council on Adoptable Children (COAC).

This popular series provides audiences with a rare opportunity to experience the finest cabaret artists and their outstanding musical accompanists at the intimate Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District. The 2015-2016 TRUST Cabaret Series will showcase award-winning Broadway, stage and film stars Tommy Tune, Stephanie J. Block, Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana performing together on one night, followed by Rebecca Luker and closing the season will be a performance by Paulo Szot.
