Adapted and performed by Bob Jaffe, …AND THEN YOU GO ON, AN ANTHOLOGY OF THE WORKS OF SAMUEL BECKETT draws from 13 of Samuel Beckett's works, spanning 44 years (1936 - 1980).

Jack Garfein, theater-film director and acting teacher, has written a book, LIFE and ACTING: Techniques for the Actor (Northwestern University Press). Mr. Garfein is one of the last living links to the Golden Age of The Actors Studio. Required reading for anyone interested in theatre, the book is being launched with a signing at The Drama Book Shop this Friday, March 18th, 5:30-7:00 pm.

New York City Opera General Manager and Artistic Director George Steel today announced the company's 2010-2011 season, which spotlights American composers and 20th-century works within a mix of world premieres, New York premieres and new productions. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents C.I.C.T./Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord's production of Fragments running April 14 to 17 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. Co-directed by Peter Brook and Marie Hélène Estienne, Fragments brings together four short plays by Samuel Beckett including Rough for Theatre I, Rockaby, Act Without Words II, Come and Go, as well as the poem, Neither. Press night will take place on Thursday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m.
